*Kybella is the first and only FDA-approved injectable drug that contours and improves the appearance of a double chin. The medication causes the destruction of the fat cells. The fat dissolves and is excreted by the kidneys and the intestines. Multiple treatments may be required.
Kybella injections are normally used for double-chins, but they have been found to work on stubborn under-arm/bra fat as well! Drs. Gambhirs are here to lend their expertise in Kybella injections to the greater Philadelphia area.
The active ingredient is synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that helps in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. Since everyone's chin profile can be different, the number of treatments vary from person to person. After Kybella you will most likely have some swelling, bruising, or numbness under your chin.

* You are bothered or unhappy by the fat under your chin.
