Gambhir: Leaders in Regenerative PRP & PRF Medicine

At Gambhir Cosmetic Medicine, we harness the regenerative power of PRP and PRF to help our patients achieve a refreshed and youthful appearance, all with minimal downtime. These treatments work by drawing a small amount of your blood and processing it to concentrate platelets and growth factors, these procedures stimulate collagen production, promote tissue repair, and lead to smoother, healthier skin.

What’s the Difference Between PRP and PRF?

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) are derived from the patient’s blood and contain a high concentration of platelets, growth factors, and other bioactive proteins that promote tissue repair and regeneration.
Platelet-rich fibrin, or PRF, is an evolution of PRP that uses a similar solution but with more stem cells, white blood cells, and fibrin from your blood. These three components add to the healing potential of blood plasma to deliver even more healing potential. Here’s what else you need to know:
  • PRF is prepared by processing the patient’s blood to concentrate platelets, growth factors, and other bioactive proteins
  • PRF is a more advanced, fine-tuned version of PRP
  • Both are fantastic rejuvenating procedures, but you may be recommended one over the other depending on your treatment goals

When combined, PRP and PRF can complement each other to produce optimal results in facial rejuvenation. Here’s how:

  • PRP is known for its ability to stimulate collagen production and improve skin texture
PRF is valued for its longer-lasting effects and ability to provide a scaffold for tissue regeneration
  • The liquid consistency of PRP allows for easy application across a larger treatment area, while the thicker PRF can be used to target specific areas that require more volume and support
  • This combination approach harnesses the unique benefits of both PRP and PRF to deliver comprehensive facial rejuvenation results that are natural-looking and long-lasting
  • This dual action also results in improved skin texture, tone, and volume, making the combination of PRP and
  • PRF a powerful and effective option for achieving comprehensive facial rejuvenation with natural and long-lasting results

Before & After

PRP & PRF Procedure

We will begin your PRP & PRF procedure by drawing your blood into a syringe. This is a relatively small amount compared to blood donation, which removes 500cc. The blood is spun in a special centrifuge to separate its components. The Plasma therapy component is then injected into the area to be treated.

Alternatively, the plasma blood can be directly injected into targeted sites to:

  • Treat under-eye bags and dark circles
  • Give volume to the lips or cheeks
  • Help promote hair growth
  • Smooth wrinkles
  • Soften scars

Frequently Asked Questions

What is 'PRP Slurry'?

“PRP Slurry” is mixing a dermal filler with your platelet-rich plasma. This unique combination will allow the PRP to help stimulate collagen production and improve the quality of the skin while the filler adds instant volume to the treated area. The Platelet-rich plasma contains powerful growth factors that allow the body to heal itself and reverse the signs of aging.
Double dip PRP involves a double volume injection of your tiny blood cells. The first round will be injected into the superficial layers to help with texture, tone and superficial lines. A second round of deeper tiny blood injections will be performed to help with repair of the deeper support tissues of the face. The effects on the deeper support tissues will not be immediately visible but will maintain muscle strength and deeper support structures to keep the face upright over the long haul.
The PRP and PRF procedure pain is equivalent to a regular microneedling or dermal filler procedure. Topical anesthesia is used with microneedling procedures, making it very comfortable.
